My Story…
In August 2023, I am running the Falmouth Road Race to raise funds for the 1019 Foundation. The Foundation is established to honor the legacies of my brother James and his good friend and teammate Owen Higgins. They were both multi-sport varsity athletes that grew up in Falmouth and loved being involved in its community. The 1019 Foundation embodies their spirit by providing scholarships to graduating senior athletes who exhibit great character, a strong work ethic, and are great teammates on and off the field, ice, track, court, etc..In addition to scholarships for senior high school student athletes, funds are also donated to youth sports programs in Falmouth to help children stay active and involved.
100% of the funds are poured back into the community. James and Owen would be proud their memory and legacy continues to lives on. I am honored to help raise funds in their name with the 1019 Foundation. Any support would be greatly appreciated!
