OUR FINISH LINE SAYS ALS DONE!

ALS is a devastating disease that has no cure.  It takes away all of your muscle function and independence. Our family was crushed and life changed forever when my husband Michael was diagnosed in June 2020. No one ever expects to receive this diagnosis but with the help of organizations like ALS One it makes living with it easier. For the last 2 1/2  years they have been there for the big things like durable medical equipment (Ramps, Chair lifts, & Hoyer lifts) and the smallest of things that help with his everyday needs. Having this equipment makes getting to doctors appointments easier but most importantly it makes spending time watching and playing with his grandkids possible! They also continue in helping to fund research for a cure. I am so proud to be part of this team for the 3rd year   !Please help me to give back to ALS One so they can continue helping those with ALS and help find a cure. No donation is too small to help all with ALS!

Michael lost his hard fought battle on April 4th but I will never stop fighting to put and END to this horrible disease and find a cure!!!!  I miss you so much Michael!💙Love You More!💚Tufts64Strong

Description

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the 51st running of the Falmouth Road Race! This prestigious event takes place in-person on August 20, 2023 along the coastline streets of beautiful Falmouth, MA!  At-home runners will complete 7 miles in any way of their choosing during the week of August 12-19, 2023.

Your support means the world to me and to all of us and will help to advance critical research at MGH, UMass Medical School, and ALS TDI, while providing essential equipment such as lifts, ramps, wheelchairs and assistive technology devices to individuals currently living with ALS via our care team at Compassionate Care ALS - all incredible partners that make up ALS ONE.

Your  donation is fully tax-deductible, as ALS ONE is a 501c3 non-profit organization (EIN #47-4984263).
