My Story…
Thank you for supporting me in my fundraising efforts! This will be my 5th year running the Falmouth Road Race to support the Cape Cod Times Needy Fund. This organization holds a lot of personal meaning for me. They provided our family with much-needed financial assistance during a difficult time, and I'm excited to help give back to an organization that was so generous to my family. Your dollars will stay on the Cape to help residents stay in their homes, buy food and medication, heat/cool their homes, and more. All contributions are tax-deductible and will benefit the Needy Fund's mission to provide urgent financial assistance for basic human needs to individuals and families residing on Cape Cod & the Islands who are experiencing temporary financial hardships. Description
The Cape Cod Times Needy Fund, Inc. has been helping local residents since 1936. Our mission is to provide urgent financial assistance for basic human needs such as housing, food, medical needs, transportation and heat, to individuals and families residing on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket who are experiencing temporary financial hardships. Most of the money raised comes from Cape Cod individuals, families, businesses, clubs, civic organizations, schools and faith communities - "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" is what the Needy Fund is all about.
