My Story…
Hello!
This August will mark my 8th year raising money for Brain Cancer to honor my father who lost his battle with brain cancer in April 2015. There are many of you on this email distribution that have donated multiple years now. I am forever grateful to have people like you in my life willing to contribute year after year to this wonderful cause. I cannot thank you enough.
My dad was taken from us too early at the age of 67. He was a caring physician who devoted his career to the aging population as Chief of the Geriatric Unit at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather to four children, and nine grandchildren (two are mine 😊). Dad was an exceptional athlete and was known best for his talents in golf, hockey, and tennis. He could also throw a mean whiffle ball pitch. My parents owned a home in East Falmouth up to the mid-90s so I grew up watching this race end in Falmouth Heights. The area holds a special place in my heart, and it has been an emotional experience running in honor of my dad to raise money for brain cancer.
Donate to help Rebecca raise money for The 2023 ASICS Falmouth Road Race’s fundraising campaign.
