My Story…
I am planning to run the Falmouth Road Race again this year to raise money for Hospitality Homes, which provides housing to families and patients who travel to Boston to seek care at one of our area’s leading medical institutions. You may have seen the story of the first ever in-utero brain surgery that was performed at Brigham and Women’s Hospital earlier this year (links here and here). What you may not know is that Hospitality Homes provided housing to the family during their journey to Boston for this life-saving procedure. Please consider a tax-deductible donation to support the important work being done by the Hospitality Homes team.
Your support will help other families such as the Coleman family make the trip to Boston for life-saving care. I feel so incredibly lucky to live near some of the finest hospitals in the world and my involvement with Hospitality Homes allows me to share that privilege with others who don’t have access to the same medical care options.
Description
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
I'm so proud to be a member of TEAM HOSPITALITY HOMES in this year's Falmouth Road Race!
Your support means the world to me and will help continue to provide housing for patients and families traveling to Boston for critical medical treatment.
With the prohibitively expensive costs of local hotels- averaging $260 per night- and the lack of sufficient hospital- sponsored housing, many patients struggle with what to do, balancing these and other out-of-pocket expenses with the already high cost of responding to a complex or chronic illness.
Your donation is fully tax-deductible, as Hospitality Homes is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
