Why I am running!
SMILE Mass is an incredible nonprofit organization that improves accessibility to recreational and vacation experiences for children and adults of all abilities so that all families can enjoy and make happy and healthy memories together: Here is a short list of just a few of the amazing things SMILE Mass does:-they provide families equipment to borrow and take with them anywhere, such as floating beach wheelchairs, adaptive running strollers, adaptive bikes, portable ramps and hoyer lifts-they have built a fully accessible beach house in Truro, MA for families to rent-they have built several accessible playgrounds in the -they opened an adaptive and inclusive gym that offers fitness training to both able bodied individuals as well as individuals with disabilities. People of ALL abilities should have the same access to have fun and enjoy all fitness and recreational activities with their families! I ask that you take a minute to learn about all that SMILE Mass has to offer and consider making a donation to help me raise the funds necessary to keep this fantastic program going!

Donate to help the SMILE Mass Falmouth Road Race team raise money to make recreation and vacation accessible to all, despite disability.
Your support will help SMILE Mass continue to expand their programs. Here are just some of their accomplishments over the past 11 years:
~donated over 140 floating beach wheelchairs to public beaches throughout New England
~created an Equipment Loaner Program that allows families to borrow adapted equipment free of charge for a day, a week, or longer
~opened an accessible beach rental in Truro, MA (Cape Cod) so families can enjoy a beach vacation
~built several accessible playgrounds in metro-west area of Massachusetts
None of this could have been accomplished without support from individuals just like you!
