I'm running the Falmouth Road to END ALZ!
Hello family, friends and colleagues! I am proud to share that I am running the 2023 Asics Falmouth Road Race on Sunday, August 20th to support the Alzheimer's Association! I run to honor all those affected by this horrible disease, but also for the first survivor. Currently there are more than 6 Million Americans living with Alzheimer's and over 11 Million people providing unpaid care for them. This disease will cost the US over $345 Billion in 2023. It kills more than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined. 1 in 3 seniors die from it, two thirds of those living with Alzheimer's are women, and one in five women over 45 will be diagnosed.
I am running for my nana, Dorothy Agres, who holds a special place in my heart and unfortunately lost her life to Dementia back in 2019. Dorothy was a fierce, loving, Brooklyn, NY native, who would be so proud that I am running to support her and others affected! Please consider donating to a great cause! #ENDALZ #IRunForDorothy
