My Story…
On August 20, 2023 we will run another Falmouth Road Race in honor of the Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation. Running in Glen's honor is a privilege and something we have done many times before. . . at the NYC marathon (Michael) and at the Falmouth Road Race (Wes, Elsie, Jess). The race is a long-standing Stanton family tradition dating back to the mid-1980's.
Glen was one of four American special operations forces killed in a terror attack in Benghazi, Libya on September 12, 2012
The Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation was established to ease the transition from military to civilian work for the Special Ops community. Inspired by Glen's love of learning and his passion for adventure, the Foundation aims to bring joy and personal advancement into the lives of those who serve through scholarships.
