Help Jenny raise money

I vividly remember going to watch my friend run the Falmouth Road Race 15 years ago and thinking, “Why would anyone want to a) run 7 miles on purpose and b) do it mid-morning in August with 12,000 other people?” At the time I swore I’d never run further than a 5K, and even that only with a healthy dose of complaining. Two years later I found myself toeing the starting line in Woods Hole. A 7-mile race led to a 10-mile, then a few half marathons and eventually a full marathon. Never say never!

I love this race so much! 2023 will mark my 10th FRR and I am thrilled to be running in support of the Y, an organization whose cause I believe in deeply and one that I am proud to be affiliated with. I have worked for the Y since 2016 and currently serve as Health & Wellness Director at Old Colony Y in Plymouth, though I grew up in West Barnstable and spent many hours as a child at the Cape Cod Y and Camp Lyndon.
