The Falmouth Road Race is a summer tradition that my college roommate/bff have run for multiple years now. After a couple of years off I am so excited to run again. Knowing my husband and little boy will be cheering me on at the top of the hill before the finish line is my biggest motivation. We are a hockey family and I recently lost my grandfather to cancer so the Shawn Thornton Foundation is a charity that I am proud to run for.
Description
The Shawn Thornton Foundation is dedicated to helping find cures for diseases close to Shawn's heart, specifically, Parkinson's and cancer. The Foundation will work towards this mission by raising awareness, funding innovative research and helping to relieve the burden and improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
