Thank you for supporting me as I run the 2023 ASICS Falmouth Road Race for New England Donor Services. I am proud to run with the NEDS team in memory of my son, William. William died unexpectedly in January 2022. We worked closely the NEDS team to donate multiple organs to three other children at Boston Children’s Hospital. The NEDS and BCH teams helped us navigate this unimaginable time for our family and helped something good come from the sudden loss of our sweet William.
William always wanted to help people, and that's what he did with his donation. Please consider donating to this amazing fundraiser! More importantly, join the Donor Registry today. We can all be more like William and #DonateLife!
Organ and tissue donation means so much to me and I appreciate your interest in helping me reach my fundraising goal. New England Donor Services is the not-for-profit organization serving the region for organ and tissue donation. There are currently 6,500 patients waiting for an organ transplant in New England and countless others will require tissue to heal this year. With approximately half of the population registered donor, it's critical for more people to join the Donor Registry today. Funds are needed to help educate the community about the importance of organ and tissue donation and the need across the community. Give now and show your support!
