Support CCALS!
For those who knew my dad, Tom McCarthy it was always known that he was a very active and adventurous person. Whether it was golfing, fishing, biking or hiking he was constantly on the go and ready for his next adventure.
My dad was diagnosed in 2014 with a disease similar to ALS, called Multiple System Atrophy that is grouped in the same category of neurodegenerative diseases. His courageous battle with the disease ended in February of 2019, but his legacy and his zest for life lives on through his family and loved ones.
I am proud to be running the 2023 Falmouth Road Race on behalf of Compassionate Care ALS to raise money for research and awareness for neurodegenerative diseases. I’m running for my dad, who lived his life to the fullest and never took a moment for granted.
Thank you so much for all of your support!
