Dear Friends and family, 

If you know me at all, you know two things: I frequently run and a rarely (if ever) ask for money, but I need your help in an important endeavor involving both. 20 years after my last Falmouth Road Race, I'm running it this year in support of a tremendous organization; Live4Evan.

Live4Evan believes that parents shouldn’t have to choose between putting food on the table or struggling with long commutes vs. being by their child’s side while they undergo heart surgeries and other serious medical treatments. I know some of us have been through this struggle - even within driving distance of Boston - with our young children hospitalized at Children's and elsewhere. Magnify that for the many families who have to leave their jobs and family members behind while paying for hotels and restaurants in order to be with their children undergoing medical treatment in Boston.

Live4 Evan provides temporary housing - at no cost to the families - who need to travel to Boston to treat their child's congenital heart issues. 

Need a little incentive for your financial support? Many of you also know that my upcoming retirement gig will be finally starting my handyman business, work that I've loved doing since my teenage years working alongside my dad and extended family. One donor will be entered to win a day of my handyman services (available after Race Day). Wall-mounting a TV? Replacing some light fixtures? Fixing a leaky toilet? Installing a new storm door or mailbox? The possibilities are endless, but it all starts with your support, so please give, and give generously!
