My Story…
I have decided this summer to run the Falmouth Road Race to support the amazing charity, Cops for Kids with Cancer. A dear friend of mine has a 6 year old nephew, Trippy, that has been battling an inoperable brain tumor for almost a year now. Trippy has been the definition of a super hero since his diagnosis. His strength, smile and courage is inspiring me to make a change for him and kids like him. My hope is to raise at least $2,500 for Cops for Kids with Cancer. Please consider donating. Description
I am running the Falmouth Road Race to raise money for Cops for Kids with Cancer. Cops for Kids with Cancer is an all-volunteer organization that raises funds for those directly involved in the care of children with cancer, with each family typically receiving $5,000. The goal of the organizations is to help the children and their caregivers through this most difficult crisis. In addition to the crushing emotional toll taken, there is a financial domino effect in having a child diagnosed with cancer.
