Hello Friends and Family!

I am excited to share with you that I am participating in the race again this year! This year I am running for The Center for Applied Behavioral Instruction (CABI) in Worcester, Ma. I am the Coordinator of Student Services at CABI, and I have been employed for 5 wonderful years. All proceeds will help support the students and resources needed to provide them with the best education possible.  I have been working with children with Autism primarily my entire career.  I am passionate about the students and take great pride in supporting students with disabilities. Below is more information about the school.  

CABI is a day school for children with autism and related neurological disorders. CABI provides, individualized behavioral and educational programming for all students. Students work in 1:1 or 1:2 staff to student ratios, ensuring behavioral and educational programming is run consistently for the best clinical outcomes. At the heart of our educational approach is building relationships with our students in order to create a trusting and communicative environment. By creating positive relationships between staff and students, we are able to further facilitate the learning process through naturalistic interactions. 

At CABI students are given the opportunity to learn, grow, and develop new skills through intensive, individualized programming. Students are given opportunities to practice skills in a variety of settings both within the school and out in the community. With clinicians and special education teachers embedded in each classroom, we ensure our students are continually making progress in order to achieve their personal goals and achieve the highest level of independence possible.
