Team Latham runs the 2023 Falmouth Road Race
Description
Thank you for supporting Team Latham!
Funds raised through the 2023 Asics Falmouth Road Race will support Latham students' and adult residents' participation in the Special Olympics. Special Olympians at Latham Centers train year-round in flag football, basketball, track and field, bowling, and other events. Our athletes travel across Massachusetts to participate in Special Olympics contests and events. In addition, we welcome teams from other schools and residential programs to our campus and community.
Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Those activities give them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship.
