Serving the community since 1973, Dixon Transition Society provides safety, guidance, and hope to women and children fleeing violence by providing a continuum of services including housing, support, and counselling. 

Many of the children who come to Dixon have often witnessed violence, if not directly experienced it. Funds raised during the Vancouver Half Marathon Charity Challenge support our vital child support program, which is now solely supported by donor generosity after funding was entirely eliminated.
