The Winnipeg Frontrunners Pride Run is a fun, non-competitive running or walking event open to everyone - all ages and abilities welcome! The run starts and ends at the Forks festival site in the heart of Winnipeg. We have 3km and 5km routes.
The theme for our Pride Run is Pride Moves. We welcome runners and walkers of all experience levels. Just bring your most colourful running or walking gear and your positive, Pride-filled energy.
Race Package Pick Up
We encourage you to pick up your kit Friday night to avoid delays Saturday
Your kit includes a t-shirt (if you ordered one when you registered), bib number, bag tag, and safety pins.
You can pick up race kits for your friends/ teams on Friday night or Saturday morning.
Friday, 5pm-8pm - Sargent Park School (2 Sargent Park Pl)
We will have a table near the outside doors facing the staff parking lot.
You can park in the staff parking lot or on the street.
If it is raining, we will be moving the pick-up location to the junior high gym. Enter the staff parking lot side doors of the school (Downing street side) facing Cindy Klassen.
Thank you to the staff and QSA (Sargent Park Pride) at Sargent Park School who are helping distribute the kits!
Saturday, 7:30am-8:30am - The Forks (at event site)
There is a table near the Start/Finish area for kit pick-up which will close at 8:30am. Please arrive early in case there is a line so that we can distribute kits as quickly as possible.
Race Day Details
Event Start/Finish Times and Location
The Start/Finish area is located at the Forks festival site just east of Orientation Circle (see photo). The race briefing and other announcements will begin at 8:45am. 5km will start at 9am. 3km will start at 9:05am.

What to bring
Please bring sunscreen and a water bottle (you can leave it at bag check while you run). You are welcome to dress up or wear your most colourful clothes!
2023 Course Map
The Pride Run will begin and finish at the Forks Festival grounds. All routes starts from the Forks Festival site. Please see below for maps. The 3km distance will do one lap and the 5km distance will do two laps.
CAUTION: The course is a mixture of dirt, gravel, grass, and concrete trails. There are surface tree roots along the path and some sections require participants to proceed single file. Please be careful and respectful of others.
There is ample parking at the Forks parkade and local surface lots.

Additional Registration Information
Winnipeg Frontrunners wants all members of our community who want to participate to have that opportunity. If the registration fee would be a barrier to you participating, we have a number of free registrations available. Contact us and we'll work something out!
MRA members can receive a $5 discount, please email us with your MRA number to obtain a discount code.
