Race Week Information
Hello. Welcome to Race Week! It's going to be a fun Saturday at Salt Fork State Park! Most information is located on the website but we've outlined below some summary information:
Packet Pick-up Schedule
- Friday, October 27 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- Saturday, October 28 6:30 am - 8:15 am
Pick-up Location: Friday evening, Salt Fork State Park Lodge - 4th Floor
Race Morning: (Race Start/Finish is at the Lodge: Helipad area)
Parking - Parking is at the Salt Fork State Park Lodge. Do not park along the road.
Aid Stations/Portable Toilets/Restrooms
There are 3 aid stations on course - one along the campground road between miles 5-6, at the Horse Campground, and at the Stone House (25K Turnaround). There will be an aid station near the Start/Finish area for those in the 50K. Only the aid station near the Start/Finish will have light snacks. All aid stations will be self-service and have water, Gatorade, 1st aid supplies, and energy gels. Please carry your own hydration.
Restrooms – Campground restrooms are along the route between Miles 5-6, horse camp (25K/50K) and a cistern restroom at the Stone House turnaround. There will be portable toilets at the at Start/Finish/50K 2nd Lap. Before the trail runs, there are facility restrooms in the lodge available.
Event Schedule/Course Cut-off
- 25K & 50K – 8:00 am
- 10 Miler – 8:30 am
Course Cut-off: Final lap for all distances must start by 1:45 pm, course closes at 4:30 pm
