Is there a deadline to register? Will registration be available on race day?
The deadline to register is Thursday, June 22nd at 12:00pm (noon). Due to logistics planning in, we won’t have registration available on race day. If you’d like a personalized race bib with your name printed on it, you must register by Friday, June 9th!
Do I need to register online via RaceRoster? Am I able to register for the race at the Children's Treatment Centre or Children's Treatment Centre Foundation office?

When can I pick up my race kit?
Race kits will be available for pick up at the event on race day.
I've never completed a 5k race before, is this event for me? How fast do I have to be?
We encourage participants of all abilities to join us at Race for the Kids to run/walk/wheel! Please come along and join in whatever your pace! Worried about falling behind? Don't! Our finisher party will be bringing up the rear, crossing the finish line last, and ensuring everyone has support and encouragement to cross the finish line.
I registered for the event, but I'm no longer able to make it. Can I get a refund?
All registration fees are non-refundable. If you would like to transfer your registration to another participant you are able to do so using the link in the sidebar. The deadline for transfer requests is Thursday, June 22nd at noon.
Race Day
I'll be joining as a spectator to watch my friend/family member who will be running/walking/wheeling. Do I have to pay the park entry fee?
In order to gain free access to Rondeau Provincial Park, you must have minimum one person in your vehicle who has registered for the 200m or 5k event.
Can I bring a stroller/wagon? What about bikes?
Strollers and wagons are both be permitted on the race course. The 200m and 5k race routes will both be fully paved. Please note, for the safety of all participants, bicycles are not permitted on the race course.
Who receives medals?
All participants registered for the 200m or 5k events will receive a medal.
Is this a dog-friendly event?
Service animals are always welcome, however we ask you leave your furry family members at home.
If there is bad weather the day of the event, is it cancelled?
Through rain or shine, we will be be walking/running/moving on June 25th! However, if for some reason we must delay our start time or post-pone the event due to uncontrollable weather conditions, emails will be sent to all registered participants and announcements will be made on our website and through our social media.
