IT'S ALL ABOUT SWIMMING FASTER AND MORE EFFICIENTLY!
The HFP Racing Open Water Swim Clinics consider the experience and skill level of the participants at each clinic. The clinics are able to work with swimmers with a wide range of skill levels: from the beginner swimmer to those with several or more years of organized swim event experience. Our swim clinics are attended by swimmers who are doing their first ever triathlon all the way up to Ironman and swim endurance athletes.
The series is progressive and we encourage each swimmer to sign-up for the complete series; however, all clinics are designed to include a component for those new to swimming.

About The Clinic
HFP Racing has partnered with Coach Perry Hock of Vector Coaching and Coaches Amy San Filippo of TriColumbus Triathlon Club and Rick Slawinski of The Ohio State University Triathlon Club to create a program to improve your open water swimming speed and endurance by focusing on Open Water Swimming and techniques specific to open water and endurance swimming. The open water swim clinics are great for anyone – from the individual preparing for their 1st triathlon and open water swim experience to the experienced triathlete looking to have a great swim in their next race. No experience required but must feel comfortable in the water swimming 25 meters.
Note: Clinic takes place in the swim zone at each Park at the Beach. Water depth is 3-5' but can reach 10' near the buoy line. Athletes will be afforded the leeway to swim in the area which they deem most comfortable until the swim portion begins. The swim turn buoys will be set in the deeper water.
Recommended Equipment
