Help Dave & Wendy raise money

It’s hard to believe that it is already late April and the annual Lutherwood Steps for Kids Walk is coming up quickly.  This year my husband, Dave, and I are once again walking, volunteering and raising funds for this very special fundraiser.  You may, or may not, know that I have worked for Lutherwood for over 39 years and the work that Lutherwood helps complete in our community fits with our values and our hearts.

 Help us take a big step towards ending the stigma associated with mental health.  Statistics indicate that one in every five young people experiences mental health issues. While some youth get effective treatment and are able to function well, far too many suffer alone.  

 On Sunday, May 7^th, please help us reach our goal of raising $350 in support of Children’s Mental Health and the programs Lutherwood provides for youth and families in Waterloo Region.   We appreciate your support and are hoping for a sunny day!  If you have already received a request from someone else, please ignore and we apologize for asking as well.
