Our story…
Thank you for taking the time to assist us in making a difference in the lives of youth that struggle with mental health in our area.
We've chosen this annual fundraiser as our way to celebrate our loved one, Brayden Michael Stephen Payne, who we lost in 2016. Brayden's journey with Mental Health began just prior to his 15th birthday and tragically it is what took him from us at the very young age of 16. Yet to experience driving, graduation, post education, a first job, marriage, a family of his own nor a career. So many youth face this daily and unfortunately are unable to see past their struggle. Some face stigmatization, some face bullying, some unaware of where to find help, some unsure what it is that is affecting their moods and some simply isolate all feelings. The more we share in broadcasting mental health issues, the more lives can be changed just simply by awareness.
