Event Schedule
10:00 AM Event Registration Opens
10:30 AM Event Kick Off & Opening Ceremony
11:00 AM We Take the Plunge!
11:30 AM Post-Plunge Celebration
Update: All participants will Plunge between 11am and 11:30am
What to Bring:
- A Bag for wet clothes.
- A backpack or tote bag to hold street clothes and your event merchandise.
- Wear waterproof footwear and avoid clothing that will soak up water for when you plunge (less is more).
- Two medium-sized Towels – one to dry with and one to stand on.
- A dry friend to hold your valuables while you are in the water (or use our bag check).
- Bring warm and dry clothes to change into after your plunge.
- A waterproof camera or phone to capture your big moment!
- HAVE FUN! Bring your friends and family to cheer you on!

PLUNGE LOCATION AND SITE MAP
Location
The Plunge is located at Kitsilano Beach, just north of the Boathouse Restaurant.

Vancouver, BC V6J 5N2
Parking
As the event starts mid-morning, parking will be limited. All parking is first come, first served.
EasyPark has the following parking lots near the Plunge site:
Lot 66 - Kitsilano McNicoll
Lot 66 - 1426 Arbutus St.
Lot 60 - 1100 Chestnut
Transit
There is easy access via transit to Kitsilano Beach (Cornwall Ave & Yew St)
Site Map
- 5% GST will be applied to your transaction at checkout.
- An online processing fee will be applied to your online registration
- All entries include a commemorative Plunge Shirt
- Online registration will close at 5pm (PDT) on Saturday, May 27th.
- All entries are Non-Refundable, Non-Transferable to another person, and Non-Deferrable to a future event. This also applies to a participant with an injury or illness.
- Registration is subject to annual Vancouver Parks Board approval
- The Event Organizers reserve the right to deny entries or registration changes for any reason.
