Through an incredible journey from surgery and chemotherapy to endurance training and ultramarathons, Phil found a lifestyle change and a new purpose. After defeating cancer two times and realizing how blessed his family was, he decided there weren’t enough resources to help kids who have lost a parent to cancer. Running for Dreams is here to change that.

The First Annual Phil Phest 5k will be held at 6pm on Saturday April 15, 2023.
Race Day Registration and packet pickup will held from 4:30PM-5:45PM.
A Packet pick-up will be held on Friday, April 14th from 2pm-7pm

This is a chip-timed race with live online results.
Every participant will receive a custom bib and T-shirt. All finishers will be given a one-of-a-kind finisher medal.

THE COURSE
The race will start and finish at the corner of Imperial Woods Dr & Bourg St behind St Rita's Catholic Church.
The 3.1 Mile route will follow Imperial Woods Dr across River Rd and onto the MS River Trail to see the sunset over the Mississippi. You will find a water station at the 1.55 mile mark at which point you will turnaround and follow the same route back to the church!
POST RACE FEST
The post-race fest will begin immediately following the race in the parking lot of St Rita's Catholic Church. Join us for live music by Refried Confuzion, amazing food and drinks courtesy of Inland Seafood, Bubbalicious BBQ, Southern Eagle, Coca-Cola and a guaranteed good time!
AWARDS CEREMONY
Awards will be presented at 7PM during the post-race festivities. Awards will be distributed in the following divisions:
