In memory of Hanshi Jay Purdy
Hanshi Jay Purdy funded the Championships in 1984 and continued to host an annual tournament in Elora until 2011, when Kyoshi Mike Robertson and Sensei Barb Lamble took over managing this annual event. With the passing of Hanshi Jay in 2021, we remember his commitment to helping students improve their karate through friendly competition.
Kyoshi Mike Robertson and the students of Canadian Naha-te Goju Karate are honoured to extend this invitation to the CNGK Championships in Elmira Ontario. All goju practitioners are welcome to join us for some friendly competition, camaraderie and fun!
