My Story…
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for SCAD Research! I hope you will join my team for the 5k this year, or will consider making a donation.
A little about me:
I’m mom to Brenna (almost 8), have been married to Adam almost 9 years, and have a career in Human Resources leadership. I love reading and yoga and taking care of our small zoo on our hobby farm - including a crazy puppy, a barn cart, a hamster and 4 hens.
In March of this year I will have celebrated my 10 year SCAD-iversary meaning it has been 10 years since my SCAD heart attack. ❤️
It’s been a journey that I wouldn’t wish upon anyone, but I am so grateful for the amazing medical teams I’ve had and the advancements in research since my diagnosis. I’ve met some fabulous SCAD sisters and brothers, some SCAD angel families, and dedicated researchers and clinicians along the way.
