Headlamps – might be a good idea for the 8 Loop’ers
Cup-Less – As we are doing our part for the environment, all of our events are now cup-less. Please remember to bring a cup, flask, bottle that you can carry with you to fill at the aid station. We will be selling our 250ml bite-top flask for $15. There will be water and Skratch electrolytes at the start line and at the aid station on course which is at approximately halfway. Both aid stations will have salty, sweet and fruit based snacks to keep those multi-loopers going!
BBQ – begins around 10:30 and continues throughout day
Awards – top 3 finishers (male/female) overall in each distance will be presented with a GOTTARUNRACING prize. Your bib is chip timed; awards are based on overall finish time. Awards will be presented once we have finishers in each distance.
See you on race day,
Jodi & Norman

THE COURSE
Our race is named after the trail we are using at Earl Rowe, called "Rainbow Run," which is named for the rainbow trout migration that occurs each Spring. But also, who doesn't love rainbows?
It's mostly double wide, some grass, some dirt and a tiny bit of pavement (when crossing over park roads) and bridge crossings over Earl Rowe Lake. It's a relatively flat course with one short climb up to the Lookout (photo opp for sure!). Awesome course for those new to trail running!
Your race fee covers entry into the Park for one vehicle so are able to bring family/friends along. Additional spectators coming in separate vehicles will be charged $15.50 per vehicle to enter.
1 loop is approximately 12K.
2 loops = 24K
4 loops = 48K
8 loops = 96K
14 loops = 168 K (so you can claim your 100M buckle!
The Park features many facilities that you can enjoy post-race such as swimming, canoeing and camping.
(all distances are approximate - GPS measurements will vary from individual to individual)
AID STATIONS * CUP-FREE * DROP BAGS * CUTOFF
AID STATIONS
We will have 2 aid stations on course - one at the Start/Finish line and one approximately half way through the 12K loop. Aid Stations will feature water, electrolytes, fruit, sweets and salty snacks. Should you have a dietary restriction or a favourite drink/snack, please feel free to supply your own. Once your race is completed you can visit the aid station at the Finish for additional snacks.
WE ARE A CUP-FREE EVENT!
This is a CUP-FREE event, therefore you will need to bring your own handheld, hydration pack or bottle to fill. Check out the GottaRunRacing 250ml flask available for purchase with registration and on race day.
DROP BAGS
The Start/Finish area will have ample space to allow for runners to leave a drop bag (at your own risk) that you can access after your first or later loops. We will set up a 10 x 10 tent specifically for this purpose close to the loop exit point. You are welcome to bring a shelter (no larger than 10' x 10' please) and we will direct you where to set it up.
CUTOFF
The cutoff time for the 8 Loop is 24 hours.
