Walker Methodist is a senior living organization providing housing, healthcare, rehabilitation, and services to older adults throughout the Twin Cities and surrounding communities. Our annual 5k/10k Stride for Seniors raises funds to support programs and services for our more than 3,000 residents and patients. The event takes place around Lake Harriet in south Minneapolis and is certified, electronically timed, and all participants receive a Walker Methodist t-shirt. Prizes are awarded to the top female and male finishers in each respective age category. Can’t make it in person? Sign up for our virtual option. A packet will be mailed to all virtual participants. Join us as we work to provide life enriching programs and services for older adults in our communities regardless of income, physical limitations, or length of stay.
