Shirt Pickup Details
Extended shirt pickup hours: Thursday, 3/16 from 1pm-5pm @ 929 Howard Ave
Shirts can be picked up on shirts at iHeart Media Studios, located at 929 Howard Avenue, on Tuesday, 3/14 or Wednesday, 3/15 from 1pm-5pm. Those who paid for shipping will receive their shirts via mail on race week.
The mission of Sista Strut is to heighten awareness surrounding the issue of breast cancer in women of color, as well as educate and provide information on community resources. Sista Strut recognizes the strength of survivors, their family and friends, heightens awareness, promotes early detection and the search for a cure.
- African American women are more likely than white women to be diagnosed with breast cancer before age 40 and are more likely to be diagnosed with larger tumors.
- African American women in the US have a 41% higher death rate from breast cancer than white women.
- Awareness of these issues will help survival rates with earlier diagnoses.
Sista Strut 2023 Registration Information and Pricing:
- $25 per individual
- Includes a 2023 Commemorative Sista Strut T-Shirt
- $30 per team member
- Includes a 2023 Commemorative Sista Strut T-Shirt AND Back Pack
*A team can consists of 2+ people (no minimum or maximum). Each participating member of a Team must sign up as a Team member in order to receive a Sista Strut T-shirt and back pack.
*$3 additional charge for XXL & XXXL shirts.
*Individual participants can choose to add a back pack to their order for $5.
*Registrants through February 26th can choose In Person FREE Packet Pickup (information below) OR they can select to have their items direct shipped to them for an additional fee.
*Registration must be paid by credit card. Please note there is a per person processing fee.

A team can consist of 2+ people (no minimum or maximum). Each participating member of a Team must sign up as a Team member in order to receive a Sista Strut T-shirt, backpack, and team photo. Shirt size availability is only guaranteed through 2/26. Sizes are limited after 2/26. Availability is displayed during registration.
