Run, walk, bike, push, row, skate, ski, swim your age in miles for your birthday

Join us for an annual tradition unlike any other—a challenge for physical and mental fitness: logging your age in miles (or kilometers) for your birthday.

Since the age of 12, DMSE Sports' Founder and President Dave McGillivray has been running his age in miles on or around his birthday, and we're drawing on that for inspiration to keep ourselves motivated and fit in 2023. The challenge is straightforward: for your birthday—and over however many days or weeks you'd like—run, walk, cycle, push, etc. your age in miles. Reaching the milestone of 25 years in 2023? You’ll cover 25 miles. Turning a young 54? 54 miles is your goal.

Sign up anytime! If your birthday has already passed, you're still welcome to run in honor of the milestone. Just train, then cover your distance, and last but not least, CELEBRATE!

Registration for all participants, regardless of age, is $50, and you'll receive:

• A special birthday card with artwork commissioned from a local artist
• A light-up birthday finisher's medal
• A customized wooden display box from Woodchuck USA
