Raise money for AZK9 Rescue

AZK9 Mission Statement:

AZK9 is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that evolved from a merger with a previous rescue started in 2010 known as Lost Paws, by a group of people who wanted to make a difference in the lives of companion animals in Maricopa County. The members of AZK9 are willing to give their time, passion and knowledge to offer proactive solutions to address the pet overpopulation. The founders realized there are many contributing factors and as a group focus on three main areas; Sterilization, Education and Rescue of the companion animals in need.

AZK9 was founded by a group of people who wanted to make a difference in the lives of companion animals in Maricopa County. The members of AZK9 give their time, passion, and knowledge to offer proactive solutions to address the pet overpopulation. AZK9 focuses in three main areas; sterilization, education, and rescue of companion animals in need.

For the dogs in our care, our mission has remained to give a second chance to those who have been abused, abandoned, and forgotten. Our focus has remained to help those who were considered less adoptable, hard to place, overlooked, and truly in need of a second chance in life. We believe every life is a life worth saving and that no animal is a lost cause. Each animal we take into our care is a deserving life needing love and companionship of a family. We work hard with each and every dog providing thorough medical care, training, and socializing to get each dog ready for a loving and devoted home.

Along with giving a second chance to those who need it most, we are dedicated to fighting pet overpopulation by holding weekly sterilization clinics targeted at helping areas of Phoenix with the highest stray animal intake. In the last 5 years we have coordinated spay and neuter services for over 10,000 companion animals and provided education, donations, and vaccinations to those most in need. We believe that steps toward fixing the overpopulation of companion animals starts in the community and educating those who don’t understand the large impact of irresponsible and accidental litters of animals.
