Our story…
Hi everyone,
After the passing of our wonderful Sophia, we were encouraged to access the services offered by the Lighthouse for Grieving Children, which is an organization dedicated to helping children move through their grief.
Having a place for children and their families to share and hold space for each other's sorrow, gives one hope that while tremendously difficult, we can survive this heartbreak together. These sessions provide healing, pockets of peace, and even moments of laughter. The Lighthouse for Grieving Children helps one understand that we are not alone on this grief journey.
Donating to "Team Sophia" or walking in her honour, helps The Lighthouse for Grieving Children to continue to offer these programs free of charge. Thank you so much for your continued support. You are appreciated. ❤️

Lighthouse offers children, youth, and their families a place to receive free grief support and to connect with others on a similar journey. They need time, space, and understanding as they try to cope with their pain and readjust to a life forever changed. Lighthouse offers a community of understanding at a time when families are at their most vulnerable.
