Although New year's resolutions are popular, they are not always successful. According to U.S. News & World Report, the failure rate for New year's resolutions is said to be about 80 percent, and most lose their resolve by mid-February...
Perhaps that's because there's no February challenge to hold you accountable?
NEW YEAR. NEW YOU. NEW RULES:
1. No more levels
We're all in this together, holding and supporting each other to the same standard of just getting out there and moving our bodies. Overall leaderboards are live.
2. No more 'no days off'.
Believe it or not, REST DAYS are actually an integral part of training. The Big Freeze advises you to take 1-2 days off per week during this challenge. You'll be amazed at how much better you feel.
3. Create a Team (not mandatory, but recommended)
The world's greatest marathoner, Eliud Kipchoge, once said, "100% of me is nothing compared to 1% of the team". While it's OK to be a lone wolf out there it's always more fun with your friends, family, loved ones, and co-workers as teammates. Spread the word and keep them in check. Please keep in mind that while team leaderboards are not live they will be updated periodically throughout each day. Teams will have a maximum of 10 people per team.
4. Download the Runkeeper App (not mandatory but recommended)
This is not mandatory, but feel free to download the Runkeeper app from Asics to help seamlessly record and submit your daily mileage automatically.
5. Walk or Run, Outside, in February
