Our story…
Hi there! I'm Meg, and I am an Assistant Youth Director for Open Door Ministries!
My "why" for working with my ODM Youth students is that I long to communicate, demonstrate, and encourage each student's deep value and worth because Jesus Christ sacrificed himself for them!
2023 marks my 9th year working with my students at ODM Youth, and my favorite aspects of my job include: developing long-term relationships with my students, doing my best to teach the Word of God and his truths to our students, pelting them with dodgeballs, hosting and loving on them with my husband Ted, discussing and normalizing sex and relationships and God's great design of them, and spending hours of having fun alongside them!
This year my goal is to raise $4,641 because that is the amount I need to be fully supported for the entire summer (June, July, and August)! All donations and runner registrations on my team will go towards this amount.
Thank you so much for your consideration and support! Although I won't physically be at the Run 4 the Door this year, I will be there in spirit (by playing in a volleyball tournament in Denver :)
