The 6th Annual BIG RED SHOE RUN!
WE'RE SIX YEARS OLD!!
Run-Walk-Dash 5K for Ronald McDonald House Charities - South Western Ontario. You can elect to participate in the 5k IN PERSON event OR back, by popular demand, the HOUSE 2 HOUSE event, where participants can sign up to run the total distance from Windsor RMH to London RMH (182km) throughout the months of May to July!
We also want to hope for your families and loved ones to stay close, just as the Ronald McDonald House does, so teams are definitely encouraged! Knowing that the past couple years have been hard on families and businesses, we are hoping to see our community come together to help a charity that is so near and dear to our heart. So let's RUN at the oppourtunity to have some fun this spring, get sweaty, get healthy, crush goals and make a difference!

We're BACK in person and we can't wait to see each of you!! This year, we are encouraging families and friends to participate in this event together as a team. Hit the ground for 5k on Sunday April 30 at Atlas Tube Centre in Lakeshore. We can't wait to see you in person to reconnect with all of our beloved RMH families.
House to House 182k Run
This BIG HIT event will be a challenge for new and seasoned runners alike! There is a total distance of 182km from the Ronald McDonald House in Windsor to the House in London! How cool is this!?!? Participants in this event will run an average of 20km per week from April 30-July 31 - how they divide their distance is up to them! Perfect way to train for any upcoming marathons this fall! This is also a great oppourtunity to hit the trails throughout Windsor-Essex! As a virtual event, this too, is great for anyone as it won't impede on trips, work or leisure activities as it's done on your own time, place and pace. Participants in this even will be given an A for effort and an added bonus at packet pickup!
Ronald McDonald House Windsor has been a part of our Windsor-Essex County community for seven years now and has helped many of our friends, families, coworkers and neighbours. Through the peak of the pandemic, their love never stopped nor their doors close. Their dedication to our community has not waivered so we cannot wane on our commitment to them.
With so many of our Windsor-Essex families using BOTH RMH Windsor and RMH London, we can't wait to raise as much as possible to ensure these families have all they need while caring for a sick child.

House to House Virtual Summer Long Run Closed
Run the distance from Windsor Ronald McDonald House to the London Ronald McDonald House, over the course from April 30 to July 31. Total distance of this event is 182km, calculated to approximately 14km a week for 13 weeks.
