My Story…
The Country Marathon (1/2 marathon for me) is always such a fun and challenging event. The support and encouragement from other runners, the volunteers and race staff during the race, helps to push everyone to do their best and the cheers from spectators help you finish the race with a smile!
The biggest shout-out goes to my other half who never doubts that I can run any distance I put my mind to. He sees me off at the start and is the first person I look for at the finish line. His support (and patience during training schedules and race day) means everything to me! I am also lucky to have so many great friends and family, who question why I find running fun, but encourage me all the same! 🏃♀️
This year I’d like to ask all of those great people to donate to the chosen charity of the race, the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Thank you for your support, your generosity is very much appreciate! 😊
