We’ve seen how hard it can be for our online students to balance work, family, and financial responsibilities while pursuing their dream of obtaining a degree. For many students, financial awards to help offset costs are vital to their success.
MS State Online has created a scholarship fund specially for our online students. Your support can make a big impact in the lives of our students!
To help raise funds for scholarship opportunities, MS State Online is hosting a virtual 5k from May 20 - 24, 2023. Registration is now open for $25 for one race which includes a t-shirt and race bib. T-shirts will be mailed to participates following the event. Simply click the "Register" button to the right, complete the registration form, and you'll be ready to race!

Each participant will choose how they want to complete 3.1 miles. Whether it's walking outdoors or running on a treadmill, you choose your pace and the place!

When is the last day to register?
Since this is virtual, the last day to register for the race is on May 20.
How do I report my results?
After your run, head back to the main race page, click "View Results," click "Submit a virtual result," and follow the instructions to upload your result. In order to submit an official result, you must include a screen shot of your recorded run on a workout app (Nike Run Club, Strava, Apple Workout app, etc.)
How can I show my support online?
Be sure to tag MS State Online and use the hashtag #dawgs4distance5k in all your photos & videos. We'd love to share your support!
Can I donate without registering?
Yes! If you'd rather give a gift instead of participating, click the "Optional Donation" button to the right of the screen. We appreciate your support!
