Fun Fact: When I started online dating, I used a single search parameter, "Phish." I knew how important it was that my lifelong partner love the inspiring, goofy, creative, and ROCKIN' music that Phish makes and that our community embraces and sustains. And, it worked--I've now been married for over 5 years to another Phish nut. Together we travel the country--often with my brother and sister-in-law--dancing at shows with our best friends. It's nothing short of pure MAGIC & my heart burst with gratitude at all this. 

What you may not know is that Trey Anastasio, guitar legend and Phish frontman, struggled with opioid addiction in the early 2000s. His family, the Phish community, and the world could've easily lost one of the true greats and treasures of American music. Instead, Trey was supported through recovery, has been sober for over 15 years, and has--quite remarkedly--decided to give back in a HUGE way by opening a treatment center for Vermonters with substance use disorder. 

Supporting The Divided Sky Fund and this recovery center combines my gratitude for Phish & my passion for supporting community-based organizations that step up to help folks when they're at their most vulnerable. As someone once said to me, "No one deserves to be alone at the lowest point of their life." So, the chance to fundraise here is a small way to show some love to folks who really need it.
