My Story…
Friends & Family-
Some may say it's an ambitious goal, and it is! I wouldn't mind and extra $1500 in my pocket- and I know that CHEO feels the same. I know I can count on my friends and family to help me raise money for The CHEO BBQ.
We are back to an live, in-person event after a 3 year hiatus (thanks, pandemic!)- and we need to bump our goals more than ever. It's difficult to 'go back to how things were' in 2019, our last live event, and fundraising (not to mention registration) is taking a hit. Things have changed these past few years- however the support we provide CHEO hasn't taken a break- if anything, the need and costs have increased to cover pediatric care and research.
Please donate today. I am skipping take-away food for the month and making that my donation. Perhaps you'll consider the same, or even skipping a coffee to donate that amount! Wish we loved closer to go out for lunch? Make a donation instead. Can't wait to try that new restaurant, but don't have time? Donate the cost of your meal. Every. Dollar. Counts.
