TAKE UP THE CHALLENGE

Thanks for your interest in entering the inaugural Veteran Games! We’re thrilled to celebrate and showcase the incredible talent and dedication of Australia's Veteran community with a $10,000 cash prize going to the Champion Team.

To get the ball rolling with your team registration, have a read of the information provided and fill out the online registration form.

DETAILS YOU NEED TO KNOW:

VETERAN EVENT

Saturday 30 September: Veteran Heats will take place.

Sunday 01 October: Veteran Finals will take place.

Cost: $100 per person, with a total of $800 per team of 8.
(The cost of your registration also includes a shirt.

Registrations open: 22nd April, 2023
Registrations close: 14th September, 2023

Refunds policy: 50% refund will be available for teams unable to compete who withdraw prior to 1st September. After this date, no refund will be offered.

Registration updates: Any updates to your registration can be made through the Race Roster login which will be provided upon initial registration.

Competitor Fitness Test Standards: You will be required to pass a fitness test upon arrival to the Games on Saturday Sept 30 Morning - see below of what it is involved:

- Beep Test Shuttle Run: 6.5 (Please note: you will not need to do the beep test to pass the fitness test)

- Push ups: 20 (on feet or knees)

- Sit ups: 20

- Single person lift & carry 10m: 20kg

- Two person lift & carry 10m: 50kg

During the games you will be required to wear:

- Camouflage pants (your choice)

- Boots (your choice)

- T-Shirt (provided)

Accommodation:

You will be required to fund your own travel and accommodation. All events will be based around the Gold Coast, so please feel free to choose a location that best supports you and your family during this time.

Teams will also be able to fundraise to support their own costs via our registration platform - more details to follow post registration.

You can also go to APOD and download the app to enjoy some discounts for nearby accommodation.

Know your Team:

Before you hit the registration button, get your team together (this is part of the fun & challenge) call up old mates, put a shoutout on social media, go and connect with other Veterans and get your team together. There must be a team captain, that registers first and registers the team name - once this has been completed - you can register yourself. Please note: you will have to know and select your team name in the registration section.
