Arizona's Original Thanksgiving Day Community Race Event!
The Mesa Turkey Trot presented by Davis Miles Attorneys at Law Firm is the original Turkey Trot Run event in Arizona and focuses on a family atmosphere! The 10K and 5K are professionally timed. A One Mile Fun Run is also offered as a warm-up and a chance for families to run together before the main events. The 10K and 5K are run on the roads around Red Mountain Park in East Mesa, AZ, finishing in the parking lot.
Race proceeds benefit the Mesa Sertoma Club

Sertoma Club of Mesa
The Mesa Turkey Trot 10K, 5K & Fun Run-Arizona’s original Thanksgiving Day community race event is put on by the SERTOMA Club of Mesa every year.
The purpose of the event to create a family and community oriented, competitive 10K, 5K & Family Fun Run event that encourages personal fitness and raise funds to provide “SERvice TO MAnkind”.
Sertoma stands for “SERvice TO MAnkind”. The Sertoma Club of Mesa is associated with Sertoma, Inc., that supports community service clubs across America. Our local club is focused on community out reach services to the disabled and underprivileged, as well as promote educational opportunities and appreciation for the freedoms we are afforded by our constitution.
We need you! If you have the volunteer and service spirit, we invite you to join us in SERvice TO MANkind.

Age Group Awards for Top Three in all Age Groups in the 10K and 5K distances (Race Day Participants only). Our age groups are the following:
- 8 & Under, 9 & 10, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & Over
Pre- and Post-Race "Runner's Brunch" (granola bars, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc)
Chip Timed with Real Time Results and Photos on our Website or Mobile App (on Apple and Google)

Race Day Information
Stroller and wheelchair friendly event. MUST start at the back of the pack. Bicycles, wagons, scooters, etc. are not allowed on this course. Leashed pet friendly event Due to the proximity of the start/finish line, there is no bag check for this event. The course will take you around Red Mountain Park on paved roads finishing in the parking lot. The 1 Mile Family Fun Run is untimed but all participants will still receive a shirt and a medal. This event will take place rain or shine. There are no refunds or transfers due to weather. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR THIS EVENT. Packet Pick-Up Opportunities
Drive-Thru Packet Pick-up will be available on the following day:
- Wednesday, November 22nd from 8am-7pm
NEW for 2023! Packet Pick-up is located at Red Mountain Park (map) in the North parking lot (corner of Sunvalley Blvd and Brown Rd.)
Race Day packet pick-up will be available on Thursday, November 23rd at Red Mountain Park (race location) beginning at 6:30am.
Virtual Run Details
Of course we want you to participate in the Mesa Turkey Trot event locally but we know things come up. So, if you can't join us on race day and still want to run, get the medal and the shirt then you still can! Here is your way to take part in this event no matter where you are! And of course, all prices include shipping! Prior to the event all virtual participants will receive an email with instructions on how to submit your time.
Please note that all items will be shipped following the event on November 23rd.
