Walk A Mile In Their Shoes is one of our organization’s signature events where participants from across the country come together to advocate against domestic violence. Typically an in-person 5K run/1 mile walk, this year we’re going hybrid - both virtual and in-person!
Participants will have the option to not only run or walk in honor or memory of someone affected by domestic violence, but swim, hike, bike, dance - or whatever their activity of choice might be - to reach their goal.
Our In-Person 5K Run/1 Mile Walk will be held on Saturday, October 7th in Atlanta, GA. Sign-in and on-site registration begins at 7:00am at Park Tavern, next to Piedmont Park and the race takes place on the Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail. We look forward to you joining us as we raise awareness and show our support for victims/survivors of domestic violence. **The in-person 5K race is an Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race qualifying event. The course is USATF Certified (GA22048WC)**
The Virtual Race will begin on October 1st and you will have until October 7th to complete your chosen activity! During this time you should post your results on the Virtual Results tab here on Race Roster! We also encourage you to highlight your achievement on your social media platforms and tag us to share your results there as well!
