Please note: Registration for Seek the Peak is now closed.
The wait is over – Seek the Peak is back! This year’s race will take place on Saturday, June 10th, 2023 and will help raise funds for Metro Vancouver Regional Parks Foundation.
The challenging 15km course starts on the beach at Ambleside Park in West Vancouver, winds its way through North Vancouver, then heads up the legendary Grouse Grind to The Peak of Vancouver.
With an awe-inspiring 1,400m climb, Seek the Peak will test your fitness, stamina and overall mental toughness. Face the 15km course alone or tackle it in a team of 2-4, splitting up the four legs.
Set up an individual fundraising page through your Race Roster account and rally the support of your friends and family in the lead up to race day. Grouse Mountain will match donations for Metro Vancouver Regional Parks Foundation up to $20,000!
The 2023 Seek the Peak t-shirt is now available for advance purchase through Race Roster.
Please note:
- There is currently a closure on a portion of the Capilano Pacific Trail due to a landslide and a section of the Seek the Peak course has been re-routed for this year’s race. View the official course map here.

Our recommendation is to park at Grouse Mountain and take the complimentary shuttle bus to the start line.
Complimentary shuttle: Buses will operate from Grouse Mountain to Ambleside Park, and between Ambleside Park and Checkpoint 1, on a continuous loop. Full shuttle schedules will be released ahead of race day.
Grouse Mountain: Regular parking rates apply
Ambleside: There is limited parking available at Ambleside Beach. Please note that there is no shuttle back to Ambleside from Grouse Mountain after the race. Racers are responsible for getting back to the start if they have parked there.
IMPORTANT: Parking at Checkpoint 1 at the end of Leg 1 is not recommended due to very limited space. Any cars must park 200 metres away and walk in to Checkpoint 1. PLEASE NOTE: There is no parking north of Klee Wyck Park on Keith Road (200m from Checkpoint 1)
