Break the Cycle
In 1974, Women's Advocates was founded as the first shelter in the nation for victims of domestic violence. We’re celebrating that Twin Cities’ legacy by hosting a community bike ride on Saturday, May 6th called Break the Cycle.
UPDATE: Our original route has been flooded! Now join us at the Big Rivers Regional Trail for a 10 or 7 mile ride and community festival. Enjoy the scenic ride and fun-filled family activities while raising awareness about domestic violence from 11am-1pm. Sweat for a good cause and help us raise money to break the cycle of domestic violence! Cyclist registration will begin at 10am, with the ride kicking off at 11am.
Not a cyclist? No problem! You can still be a part of the festivities by joining us from 11am-1pm at the community festival - no bicycle required!
