Help Kelly raise money

On June 24th I'm joining moms from San Rafael (i.e. Team Sweatin' for Gun Safety) for Rock the Ride: A Benefit bike ride (and walk) for gun violence prevention. 

This event helps raise funds for the Moms Demand Action organization and also raises awareness and activism in gun violence prevention. Moms Demand Action is an incredible organization that's all about safe and regulated gun use to prevent gun violence.

I'll be riding my Dad's bike. Last time we rode it together was 11 years ago (pictured below) for my Mom's 60th birthday. Dad always taught me to be hopeful on issues while also committing to learn up, do the work, and get involved. Whether it be within our community, city, country: when something isn't right, get out and do something to make it better. This ride (and getting on a bike again after a 6 year hiatus) represents my commitment to gun safety activism moving forward.
