Privateer 5 Mile Race is taking place in Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral territory of the Mi'kmaq. We are all treaty people.
PLEASE note we are assisting the Queens Track Society and the effort to complete the fundraising for a new state of the art athletic track and complex at the local Liverpool Regional High School. Please make a donation!
The Privateer 5 Mile road race starts on the beautiful waterfront in Liverpool, Nova Scotia. The route takes you north through the community of Milton, across the bridge, and around the scenic Mersey River back to the finish on Henry Hensey Drive. Refreshments and awards to follow the race at the Legion Hall.
Not only that, but this is the Saturday of the famous Privateer Days festival, and we will get the race all done and dusted in time for the Grand Parade and all the fun of the fair!

Post event reception location ... Royal Canadian Legion on Henry Hensey near Hell Bay
This event will start at the Visitor Information Centre parking area at 8:30 AM.
Keep to sidewalks within Liverpool limits. Be aware of road conditions and traffic when on Route #8 portion of this event. as you complete the final 1 mile of this route you will turn on to Henry Hensey Drive finishing near the Golden Pond Restaurant.

We offer registration deferment to the following year, in lieu of our no refund policy. A confirmed and paid registration can be cancelled for any reason until 2:00PM on Friday, June 23, 2023 and carried forward to the 2024 race year. Refunds are not permitted. Participants who wish to take advantage of the option will be required to pay a fee of $10.00 +HST per registration for the opportunity of a one year grace.
