Are there Awards for the 5K?

Can I pick up someone else’s race bib or can someone pick up mine?
Yes, you can pick up for others or have them pick up for you, however, the person picking up bibs must bring a copy of each person’s registration confirmation or photo ID
Where do I park on race day, Thurs., Nov. 23, 2023?
Those attending should plan on paying $10 at Pam Iorio Garage and $2/hr at other city parking garages. There are city flat lots also in the area that collect on an hourly rate and on-street parking is $2.50/hr. Is gear-check available race morning?
Gear check/hold is not available on race day.
Are bicycles, rollerblades, scooters, wheeled shoes or other wheeled transportation allowed in the race?
For safety reasons, except for participants pushing a baby stroller/jogger, no wheeled vehicles including but not limited to scooters, rollerblades, rolling shoes and bicycles are NOT allowed on the race course. Participants pushing a baby stroller/jogger will line up in a designated start corral.
Are dogs allowed at the race?
Yes! However, they must be registered on the race registration site. There is a $5 fee to register dogs, this will cover the cost of the bandana they should be wearing on race day. The capacity for dogs is 150 and registration will close once that number is met. For safety reasons, dogs must be on a non-retractable leash not to exceed 6’. Owners must clean up after them and will line up in a designated start corral.
I registered for the virtual race, what do I need to know?
All virtual participants get a t-shirt and medal which you will get at packet pickup. You may run/walk your race at your own time/location between 11/20-11/27. You may post your results during that time on our registration site.
My child will be in a stroller, do I need to register my child?
You do not need to register your child for the race if they will ride in the stroller and remain in the stroller while on the course. If your child likes to get out and walk with you periodically, please register your child. Children do not need to remain in strollers on Amalie Plaza. Only registered participants receive a shirt and finisher medal.
Do you need volunteers and how can they sign up?
YES, we always need volunteers! Sign up tasks & times are under the Volunteer tab on the race registration site
