Pre-Race Bib Prep: Friday, 11/17, 12pm-3pm
Help us get the bibs labelled and in order for pickup! We will also load boxes of t-shirts into the truck for Saturday's packet pickup This is a big task, but with the help of volunteers, we can get this done easily! We will meet to do this on Friday, November 17th from 12:00pm-3pm at the Community Initiatives Building (located at 1905 N Florida Avenue, Tampa, FL 33602).
Pre-Race Bib Pickup: Saturday, 11/18, 9:30am- 1:30pm
Volunteers will be handing out bibs and shirts to racers in the days prior to the race. Volunteers will assist on Saturday November 18 from 9:30am-1:30pm. This packet pickup shift is located at Dick's Sporting Goods- Westshore Mall (258 Westshore Plaza).

Event Day Hospitality: Race Day, 5:30am-9am
One of the most important roles is providing assistance to racers on race day! Racers often have questions about shirts, their race bibs, or any other number of details. Our Event Day Hospitality Staff greet racers warmly, answer questions and help racers in any manner possible! This volunteer position happens on race day Thursday, November 23 from 5:30am-9am. Please check in at the Amalie Arena Plaza (Outside) at 5:30am.
Water Station: Race Day, 6:30am-9am
Aid station volunteers will be at one of our stations along the route cheering on our racers, handing out water, and being on the lookout for anyone who might need assistance! This volunteer position happens during the race. This volunteer position happens on race day Thursday, November 23 from 6:30am-9am. Please check in at your assigned aid station on race day at 6:30 am.
Start/Finish Line: Race Day, 5:30am-9am
Be in the middle of the action and fun! Help to corral racers in their correct spots before the race, cheer on racers as they cross the finish line, and pass out medals after they've crossed! This volunteer position happens on race day Thursday, November 23 from 5:30am-9am. Please check in at the Amalie Arena Plaza (Outside) at 5:30am.
Course Marshal: Race Day, 6am-9am
Course Marshals have an active role in ensuring safety on the course. Course Marshals stand at key marshal points along the course to warn riders of hazards, direct riders, ensure fair play and provide rapid response to incidents. Course Marshals may also act as crossing guards and/or league representatives to other trail users. Radios are provided to communicate/report any incidents or to call in medical assistance. A note pad is provided to keep track of any outside support, rule violations and riders who abandon the race. Course Marshals can hike or ride bikes to their marshal points. Lastly, remember to cheer on those riders as they pass by! This volunteer position happens on race day Thursday, November 23 from 6am- 9am. Please check in at the Amalie Arena Plaza (Outside) at 6am.
Event Day Photographer: Race Day, 6am-9am
Do you enjoy capturing the moment? We are looking for someone to help us capture moments throughout our event. Volunteers will be expected to provide their own camera but will be given a memory card to use and return at the end of the event. This volunteer position happens on race day Thursday, November 23 from 6am-9am. Please check in at the Amalie Arena Plaza (Outside) at 6am.
LIVESTRONG at the YMCA Information Table: Race Day 6:15am-8:45am
This is an opportunity for our past LIVESTRONG at the YMCA participants and current coaches to share information about their experiences with the program and how cancer survivors can get registered for the program. PLEASE ONLY SIGN UP if you have participated in LIVESTRONG at the YMCA as a participant or are a YMCA LIVESTRONG coach. Please come to Amelie Arena on the Plaza at 6:15am. Check in at the Volunteer table and then you will go to the table with a bright yellow Livestrong at the Y table cloth.
Race Day Food Table: Race day, 6:30am-9am
Volunteers for this section will help setup the food table for the event and make sure it stays stocked until the end. This is our opportunity to thank our participants for choosing our race. Offering waters, fruit, and breakfast bars to those who pass by. Please come to the volunteer check-in on Amalie Plaza by 6:30am.
