Raise money for Hopeful Tails Animal Rescue
Hopeful Tails is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization based in Joliet, Illinois. We not supported by government funding but by our loyal supporters who join us in the fight to end homelessness and abuse among the voiceless.
Our organization started out with a group of volunteers from another rescue who wanted to make a larger impact. On October 13, 2013, the founders met, and by November 26, 2013, Hopeful Tails Animal Rescue officially became a foster-based rescue.
Two years after its establishment, we relocated to our current location. We have been fortunate enough to rescue over 6,000 dogs to date.
As Hopeful Tails continues to grow and face new endeavors, we depend on our staff, volunteers, donors, and community for support.
Our organization is proud to:
- Rescue dogs in danger of being euthanized at high-kill shelters
- Provide necessary veterinary care – including the inclusion of being spayed or neutered
- Provide loving temporary care with our foster program
- Place rescued dogs into well-matched, carefully selected, permanent adoptive homes
- Serve as a resource to the community and all dog owners by providing education
- Host quarterly low-cost vaccination clinics
